Justin Timberlake’s stepaunt is accused of stealing $64,000 using forged checks.
Ugh, this is awful.Apparently, Justin Timberlake’s aunt was just arrested for forging thousands of dollars’ worth of checks. As if that weren’t bad enough, her alleged victim was her own brother, Timberlake’s stepfather.
Jane Harless, 53, was charged this week with writing more than 100 forged checks to herself from her brother, Paul Harless, who married Timberlake’s mother when the singer was 5 years old. According to TMZ, Auntie Jane allegedly stole more than $64,000 from the singer’s mother and stepfather between 2011 and 2013.
Paul is a part owner of the Memphis Grizzlies and a partner in JT’s Mirimichi golf course, so hopefully this theft won’t dent the family finances too much.
Justin’s *NSYNC bandmate Chris Kirkpatrick said that Justin’s irritation at Miley Cyrus’ VMAs debacle spurred him to put on a great show of his own.
“When we were watching I saw Justin getting a little angry,” Chris toldJohnny’s Houseon Monday. “And when he gets angry, I said ‘Uh-oh. That means we better be on point, because he’s about to go out and kill it now.’”
