Congratulations, royal baby watchers: You guys were right. Kate Middleton is totally having a baby.

The Duchess of Cambridge went into labor earlier today. "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour," Cambridge House, the official royal residence, tweeted. "The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge."

A spokesperson added that things are progressing normally.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, let slip that the family expected that the royal baby would be born sometime last week.

Camilla and her husband, Prince Charles, made a visit to a children’s hospital in Cornwall last weekend, according to theDaily Mail. In an impromptu speech to the crowd, Camilla said of the royal baby: “We are all just waiting by the telephone. We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here."
