Ugh, everything about this is awful. I wouldn't read this if I were you. "Flowers in the Attic" might be real. Go read that. It's less bad.
If you're still here, sorry. Remember Dominic Monaghan from "Lost" and "Lord of the Rings"? Apparently, he's sort of a piece of work in real life. I know. He's a hobbit. It doesn't seem right.
An anonymous young woman met Dominic in a store and they struck up a "friendship." She claims that he asked her out, but after she refused to just report to his house and have sex with him, he turned nasty and sent her a series of text messages calling her names and bragging about how rich he was, according to Radar.
“I couldn’t invite you to one of my three houses I’d be nervous you would steal sh*t,” he says in one. In another, he calls her a "Ghetto tramp," and in a third says "Have sex with you?! You appeared riddled with herpes n smelled odd."
Monaghan confirmed that the text messages were his (sigh) but says he was the one being harassed - he was just defending himself. "“I wonder if you are aware that she has been calling me for over two years when I have repeatedly asked her not to… Today [Monday] I told her again via text that her behavior was troubling to me and for her not to contact me."
It does seem from the context of the messages that the woman was likely goading Monaghan at least somewhat. Without seeing her side of the conversation, it's hard to know whose side to take. But there's no excuse for calling someone a "ghetto tramp" so I'm definitely not on Monaghan's.
