The Word: Miley Cyrus says Amanda Bynes attacked her to trend on Twitter
Miley has no plans to sink to Amanda's level - although she did aim a mild jab Amanda's way, suggesting that the troubled star is trying to piggyback on Miley's Twitter fame.
Earlier this week, Miley Cyrus became the latest bystander to be hit by Amanda Bynes' rapid fire Twitter insults. "@mileycyrus ur ugly," Amanda tweeted. However, pop star Miley has no plans to sink to Amanda's level - although she did aim a mild jab Amanda's way, suggesting that the troubled star is trying to piggyback on Miley's Twitter fame.
"I was rooting for her comeback until she started attacking me, and I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter," Miley said in an interview on Hot 99.5.
"It's just funny the moment you're a trending topic how many people want your name to come out of their mouth, so somehow they can associate and maybe they can become a trending topic."
Pretty sure that for that to work it has to come out of your Twitter account, not your mouth.
Miley also said there's nothing going on between her and Justin Bieber. "I'm engaged. I'm engaged! That is not possible," she said.
Miley and Justin seemed to be getting closer this weekend. Justin’s leopard print Audi (oraleopard-print Audi. Who knows how many of those are around) was spotted leaving Miley’s house on Saturday. Later that evening, they met up again at Los Angeles’s Roosevelt Hotel, according toTMZ. After partying for a few minutes, they left together for parts unknown.
