We all do it. There is not one person among us — unless you’re some preternatural super-being of chastity and light — who, while in bed with their significant other, has not let their mind stray to the naked body of another.
Just for a minute mind you, a second even. But everybody does it. Monogamy is hard, you guys, and sometimes a little harmless fantasy makes the same-old routine of doing the horizontal soft shoe with your beloved just a little less….same-old.
It’s the little white lie of sexual congress but, like Fight Club, the first rule of fantasizing outside of your relationship is that you don’t TALK about it.
Apparently Russell Brand did not get that memo. Or, he got it, and then rolled it up and smoked drugs out of it. Either way, Brand recently made some very mean public comments about sex with his ex-wife Katy Perry.
At a recent stand-up gig in London, Brand joked “I’d be having sex thinking, ‘Think of anyone, anyone else.'” And, sure, this was insult for the sake of comedy, so it can be forgiven. Unless, probably, you happen to be Katy Perry.
