In the tweet heard ‘round the Internet on Monday, Hillary Clinton announced her official entry into the Twittersphere. “Thanks for the inspiration @ASmith83 & @Sllambe – I’ll take it from here… #tweetsfromhillary,” the Senator tweeted, shouting out the creators of the viral (and now defunct) Tumblr Texts From Hillary (the only Tumbr about texts to provide us more LOLs than Texts From Bennett). Oh, but it gets better. Hill’s Twitter bio identifies Clinton as, among other things, a “pantsuit aficionado, a hair icon, and a glass ceiling cracker.” Because, you know, the lady is a class act and she has a sense of humor — a really good one. And her profile picture is the same photo used in Texts From Hillary. See: sense of humor. When this went to print, she already had 380,450 followers and was following a mere five (including Bill and Chelsea). But you’d better believe that “Get followed by Hillary” just shot straight to the top of our interweb bucket list — just above “Meet Grumpy Cat.”
