Ariana Grande, who starred in Nickelodeon’s “Victorious” from 2010 to 2013, says that life as a teen Nick star isn’t all green slime and glamour. In fact, one of her costars was so unkind that she made Ariana miserable.

“I worked with someone who told me they’d never like me,” Ariana told Seventeen. “But for some reason, I just felt like I needed her approval. So I started changing myself to please her. It made me stop being social and friendly. I was so unhappy.”

Ariana’s now starring in “Sam & Cat” alongside “iCarly” star Jennette McCurdy. She says she’s much happier. “I am so lucky to be working withJennette McCurdy. She is a real, genuine, honest person, a good friend, and doesn’t care about all the superficial BS.”

In other words: Good riddance, mean costar.

Speaking of former child stars: After nearly 21 years as an only child, Selena Gomez finally has a younger sibling to boss around. Her mom, Mandy Cornett, just gave birth to a daughter with her husband, Brian Teefey, according toE! Online.
