Thursday gossip roundup: Kristen Stewart and R-Patz in ’50 Shades of Grey’?

The first unidentified man to accuse John Travolta of sexual assault — who parted ways with his lawyer after his case seemed to unravel — has hired Gloria Allred as his new attorney, according to People magazine. “I represent John Doe Number One,” Gloria Allred tells the magazine. “Mr. Doe’s lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice which means that he is still legally entitled to file another lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses. We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take.”

Actor Nick Stahl‘s wife has reported him missing, telling police that she last saw the “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” star on May 9, according to TMZ. Stahl has reportedly been spending a lot of time around L.A.’s Skid Row area, and his wife, Rose, has suggested drugs may be involved. In February, she filed court papers declaring that the two were separated and asking that Nick’s time with their 2-year-old daughter be limited to eight supervised hours per week.

Jennifer Lopez is stepping down as a judge on “American Idol,” leaving the reality show that helped revitalize her career, according to E! News. “There is just too much going on for her right now,” a source says of the singer, who is embarking on a summer tour that conflicts with the show’s taping schedule. Lopez is also working on a new album and has more film projects on the horizon. “She regrets she can’t stay on the show,” the source adds. “It’s been an incredible experience and she is forever grateful that she did it.”

When it comes to Russell Brand‘s marriage to Katy Perry — which he ended suddenly after 14 months — there are no hard feelings, at least as far as Brand is concerned. “I was very happy to be married with her. She’s such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her,” Brand tells Ellen DeGeneres in an interview. “But, sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything.” That doesn’t mean he wants to keep up with Perry, though: Last week, Brand un-followed his ex on Twitter.

Kristen Stewart, who met boyfriend Robert Pattinson while co-starring in the “Twilight” films, is eager to get together with him on-screen again. “I’m dying to make another movie with Rob, I think that we’re a good team,” she tells Celebuzz. But are they open to teaming up for the movie version of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the hit romance novel that was inspired by their “Twilight” characters? “I think whatever it is needs to be so ridiculously ambitious. So maybe,” she says. “I just haven’t read it, so I don’t know what it is, but I would love to work with him again.”

Lady Gaga has lost her seat atop the Forbes Celebrity 100, the magazine’s list of the most powerful stars based on their earnings and social media reach. Last year, Gaga held the top spot, but for 2012 she’s slipped to number five. The new leaders? Jennifer Lopez, followed by Oprah Winfrey, Justin Bieber and Rihanna, in that order.
