Despite the heavy criticism of TLC's 2013 TV movie, "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story," T-Boz and Chilli, the surviving members of the musical trio, have announced they are releasing one final album. But apparently, they don't have the funds to get this done on their own, so their asking fans to donate to their Kickstarter campaign.
"We wouldn't dream of making our final album with anyone BUT our fans. Come on y'all, BE A PART OF TLC HISTORY!" the Kickstarter page reads. "Our final album will stay true to the TLC sound, always confronting the real issues and life experiences that we all must face every single day, everywhere. We write music that people relate to...timeless music. No matter the trends, we feel like our music is always relevant. You'll always have a guy hanging out the passenger side! And sometimes you'll feel damn unpretty! We will continue to make music for EVERYONE, music that's UNIVERSAL, TOUCHABLE.This final album will be the first studio album by the two of us. Of course, Lisa's spirit will always be present in our music. That will never change."
So far, they are already over $10,000 into their $150,000 goal, which they hope to reach by mid-February. Click here to check out the Kickstarter page.
