Hear ye, hear ye, gays, women and curious men: Olympic diver Tom Daley, 21, and Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, 41, are engaged.
And once again, all your dreams are dead. The couple announced their engagement and the loss of all your hope via a newspaper ad.
“The engagement is announced between Tom, son of Robert and Debra Daley of Plymouth, and Lance, son of Jeff Bisch of Philadelphia and Anne Bisch of Lake Providence.”

“The whole family is extremely excited and looking forward to the big day,” Daley’s mother toldThe Plymouth Hearld. “They are going to wait until after the Olympic Games in Rio before they decide on the date of the wedding and where they want to marry. The couple has been romantically connected since Daley came out to the public via a YouTube video which has been viewed 11,636,709 times.
You hear that? It’s the sound of any hope you had of ever dating either one of these men singing its swan song of death.
