Tuesday gossip roundup: Is Russell Brand rebounding with Isabella Brewster?

Katie Holmes may be enjoying her new life as a single mom in New York City, but it has been a bit more unpleasant for her chauffeur. For the second time in a week, Holmes’ car was involved in a fender-bender, with the latest incident leaving a huge dent near the car’s tail. Holmes and daughter Suri were leaving Suri’s gymnastics class when their chauffeured Mercedes was struck by a recycling truck near 33rd Street and Sixth Avenue, according to E! News. No one was injured and a police report was filed once Holmes and daughter were home. A few days earlier, a paparazzi vehicle hit the Mercedes while it was taking them home from a toy store.

Russell Brand is clearly moving on from soon-to-be ex-wife Katy Perry and is reportedly dating Isabella Brewster, a former talent agent and the younger sister of “Dallas” star Jordana Brewster, according to Us Weekly. “It’s been going on for a few weeks. He really likes her,” a source says. “She’s cute. She is all over him and Russell loves it.” Brewster previously dated Bradley Cooper and “Heroes” star Milo Ventimiglia.

It looks like you can blame Steven Tyler for Jennifer Lopez‘s departure from the judges’ table on “American Idol” just one day after he announced he’d be leaving the show. “We had magic. I don’t know, with him gone, it might be a different formula,” Lopez tells Ryan Seacrest in an interview, admitting that Tyler’s leaving cemented her decision to do the same. The singing competition is now searching for two new judges for its 12th season, with sources telling Us Weekly that Mariah Carey is among the top names being considered. “They are in serious talks with Mariah, and it’s very close to being a done deal,” a source says.

Kate Beckinsale admits that her 13-year-old daughter is starting to make her feel her age. “I haven’t been embarrassing [to somebody] before,” Beckinsale tells Allure magazine. “I can’t dance at a party where there are teenagers without [them] clearing the dance floor. Those are the things that make me go, ‘F—, I’m old.’ You’re a parent [and] everyone leaves.”

Miley Cyrus‘s younger brother, Braison Cyrus, was rushed to the hospital when he started spitting up blood because of complications from a surgery last week. “I got my tonsils out last week,” Braison explained to his fans via Twitter. “Not sure what happened exactly but long story short my artery opened and I was [bleeding] a lot. All good now.” Braison’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, thanked the hospital staff for helping — but not posting a gruesome photo of his son sitting up in his hospital bed holding a bloody bucket he’d been coughing into.

Charlie Sheen is looking to do some good, vowing to donate one percent of his profits from his new show, “Anger Management,” to the USO, a nonprofit that helps members of the U.S. military, according to Hollyscoop. Sheen has declared he will donate a guaranteed $1 million, with no upper limit to what he’ll donate should profits increase. The initial million marks the highest donation made to the organization from an individual. The money is reportedly earmarked for an entertainment facility for injured veterans in Bethesda, Md.
