‘How I Met Your Mother’
The long-running sitcom draws to a close with the final installment of its experimental “every episode takes place over the same weekend” season, as Ted presumably meets the mother during the hourlong series finale. With castmates Robin and Barney married in last week’s episode, expect some legendary hijinks to occur at the reception.
Tonight 8 P.M., CBS
‘Friends With Better Lives’
James Van Der Beek returns in this sitcom about friends that isn’t "Friends" but probably wishes it was. Unlike his last sitcom effort, "Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23", he will, sadly, not be playing an exaggerated version of himself. Kevin Connolly ("Entourage") and Brooklyn Decker costar.
Tonight 9 P.M., CBS
‘Wayne’s World’ and ‘Wayne’s World 2’
The Fuse channel has you covered if you’re not interested in sitcoms. Marathon both "Wayne’s World" movies back to back, then impress your coworkers the next day with some very dated yet still awesome pop culture references.
Tonight 8 P.M., Fuse
‘Dancing With the Stars’
Robin Roberts appears as a guest judge this week, as another elimination occurs. The theme for the dancers this time around? “The Most Memorable Year of Their Life.” Prepare your own interpretative dance for the year you graduated from high school. Or the year you got married or had a kid or climbed Mount Everest or ate 50 eggs in one sitting. Maybe not that last one.
