Metro’s Sunday night TV breakdown.

‘Bonnie and Clyde’
MINISERIES. This is part one of the much-hyped, two-part miniseries about the lives of history’s most infamous crime couple, starring Emile Hirsch as Clyde Barrow and featuring, among other talent, “Modern Family’s” Sarah Hyland and William Hurt. Check out our interview with Lane Garrison (who plays Clyde’s brother) pre-premiere! (They’re playing this thing on three different channels, btw, so you can’t miss it.)
Series Premiere, 9 p.m., A&E + HIST + LIFE

‘The Oprah Interview: Nelson Mandela’
INTERVIEW. In honor of Mandela’s passing, Oprah’s network is re-airing her 2000 interview with the great humanitarian. This might be one of the very few occasions when Oprah was not the most impressive figure in the room.
8 p.m., OWN

‘Home Alone’
MOVIE. Is this one of the best Christmas movies of all time? Yeah, kinda. We could watch Kevin play man of the house, shop for TV dinners and toothbrushes and fend off would-be robbers any time of the year, but it wouldn’t be the holidays without an annual screening (or three). On a side note, does anyone else ever think about how this movie might have spawned a generation of kids who thought that lighting someone’s head ablaze with a blowtorch fell under the umbrella of harmless pranks?
8 p.m., AMC
