REALITY. Tonight, Drita’s dinner party leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouths when, shockingly, grievances are — violently — aired before they even get to their entrees. If we’ve learned anything from the obscene amount of reality TV we’ve watched over the years, it’s that nothing good ever happens at a network-orchestrated dinner party.

‘American Idol’
COMPETITION. The audition rounds are finally over. We know, it feels like this season’s auditions have been going on for the better part of a decade. Were they always this drawn out? Anyway, tonight, at long last, the hopefuls who are actually going to get to compete for the “Idol” title are named.

‘Party Down South’
REALITY. This reality show about hard-partying hicks living/fighting/hooking up in a South Carolina vacation house is probably going to do for South Carolina what “Jersey Shore” did for Jersey: nothing good. (Actually, this show is produced by the guy behind “Jersey Shore.”) On the other hand, it’s a winning reality TV formula, regardless of location, so what the hell? We’re watching it.
