The Crown Season 2 Premiere

This December, it might be best to stick with your go-tos for binge watching: the slate for the end of the year premieres is pretty light, with only a handful of series coming to screens. Here are all the TV premiere dates for December 2017.

Dark, Netflix (December 1)

Dark — a German mystery thriller — promises to be dark, otherworldly and time bendy. Set in a small German town in present day, the series will follow the disappearance of two young children, and explore the double lives lived among four families. But you know, with a supernatural twist. Looks like it has the potential to fill “The O.A.” shaped space in our hearts.

The Crown, Netflix (December 8)

The Crown is back for a second season, and as star Claire Foy has revealed, the sophomore run will cover the years between 1956 and 1964. According to showrunner Peter Morgan, the Suez Crisis will kick off the second season — because, as he says, Britain was never the same afterwards. Per Vulture, the series will likely also cover rumors of Prince Philip’s infidelity, Princess Margaret’s new beau and — yes — Beatlemania.
