South Park season 22 is set to premiere this week on Comedy Central and diehard fans of the show are looking forward to a season filled with controversy and dark humor.

South Park doesn’t shy away from addressing controversial topics and this season is no different. During the season opener of South Park season 21, the episode addressed white supremacy and Season 20, episode 10 featured a president with a striking resemblance to Donald Trump.

According to a South Park season 22 preview clip, the show will tackle school shootings in the premiere episode. In the clip, Stan Marsh is sitting at the table having dinner with his family when his mother asks him what happened at school that day.

Stan first mentions he failed his math quiz, but his mom tells him to talk about what else happened.

“Oh, the school shooting?” Stan says. “Oh yeah, some kid shot up the school,” Stan said while staring at his dinner plate. In true South Park fashion, the clip attempts to add humor when the father asks Stan if he was the shooter and if he got shot. When Stan confirms that he wasn’t involved, the father goes back to asking about the math quiz.

According to Esquire, South Park co-creator Matt Stone grew up in Colorado around the time of the Columbine shooting and is sensitive about the topic of gun violence and mass shootings at schools. South Park also addressed gun violence during the Season 19 finale.

While we’re not sure what will be in store for South Park season 22, the 38-second-clip for the premiere episode has classic South Park moments fans are looking for.
