Will and Grace: The best stars are the guest stars!

On May 18, 2006, Will and Grace aired its final episode. Now, 11 years later, fans have Will Truman (Eric McCormack), Grace Adler (Debra Messing), Jack McFarland (Sean Hayes) and Karen Walker (Megan Mullally) back in their lives.

Eleven years later, fans were wondering if the same spark Will and Grace originally had lived on and they found out when will and Grace returned on Thursday. Fans are also wondering if the show will still have the great guest stars it did the first time around.

Through social media, the cast of Will and Grace has teased us with upcoming guest stars for the new season. Take a look at the gallery above for a taste!

At the Tribeca TV Festival, Messing confirmed Harry Connick Jr., who played Grace’s now-ex-husband Leo, will be back. McCormack joked that Bobby Cannavale, the actor who played his husband when the show ended, was “too booked and too expensive” to have back full time, but Will’s now-ex-husband Vince.

Mullally told the audience that Shelley Morrison, who took Rosario the maid from a one-off character to a fully developed part of the show, has retired from “the biz.”

An audience member at the panel discussion asked which guest stars were cast favorites. Messing mentioned Debbie Reynolds who played Grace’s show tunes belting mother Bobbi Adler on the show. Hayes chose Matt Damon and his character Jack’s obsession, Cher. McCormack said, “I loved my parents,” referring to Blythe Danner (Marilyn Truman) and Sydney Pollack (George Truman).

Other favorites from the panel included Michael Douglas, Molly Shannon and John Cleese.

Below are some of the guest stars who appeared during the original run of Will and Grace. Who would you like to see back?
