It’s not just international acts like Tiesto and Kanye West taking the stage this weekend. Locals including Pissed Jeans and OCD: Moosh & Twist play Saturday and Man Overboard, The Menzingers, Nothing, Cruisr and Vacationer are up Sunday.
“I’m trying not to think too hard about this because once I start treating it like we’re playing to a greater mass of people, it starts to be a different kind of show,” says Kenny Vasoli of Vacationer.
Vacationer’s retro loungy sound is an alluring breeze, full of the crosswinds. The band latest album is “Relief,” released in June.
“Making this music and playing it has been very healthy for me,” says Vasoli, also the lead singer for the pop-punk band the Starting Line. “It’s had a very positive effect on my outlook and demeanor.”
