We all expose ourselves to some extent when we date new people, but VH1 will make daters bare all in a new TV show. The network has just ordered a reality series called “Naked Dating,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Each of the 10 episodes will revolve around one man and one woman as each meets two naked potential mates. The idea is that stripping clothes from the dates also strips away prejudices people may have based on clothing and appearances. At the end of the episode, the featured love-seekers will reflect on what they learned about themselves and their dates and decide if they want to keep seeing their dates.

The series will be filmed in a “remote exotic locale,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. Lighthearted Entertainment, the production company behind the project, also produced “Extreme Makeover” and “Next.” VH1 said the show will be edited in accordance with network standards.

Howard Schultz, president of Lighthearted Entertainment, told the Hollywood Reporter that the show is about focusing on the heart. “We created this show based on marrying a provocative idea with a back to basics philosophy. With all the dating options in the world, what happens if you take one man and woman and strip them of all their pretenses?” he said. “VH1 immediately understood our vision and is a fantastic partner on a show that uses a social experiment to provide a fun and entertaining look into how men and women interact when they bare all.”

VH1 has not yet announced when the show will air.
