On the heels of the release of the trailer for the Backstreet Boys’ new documentary, Charli XCX released the ultimate cover of her singing a stripped down version of “I Want It That Way.” Without the cheesy synchronized dance moves and harmonized voices, it actually sounds pretty modern. Hey Charli, what about a little *NSync for your next song? A little “Dirty Pop” perhaps? With her voice and signature synth sound, we think it could sound pretty cool.
