VIDEO: See Haley Reinhart fall (and get back up) on ‘American Idol’

Pity poor Haley Reinhart. For weeks now, she’s been the only person on “American Idol” willing to step outside their comfort zone, breaking out growly covers of Adele, Elvis and even an unreleased Lady Gaga song. And what’s been her reward? Only bad luck, as last night she fell up the stairs on national television:

Major props to her in that moment, though, for brushing herself off and continuing the song like a pro. Nice work, kid!

And, just because we’re creepy, we’re also going to include video of Haley’s other two performances. (OK, it’s not just because we’re creepy — we also like that after Casey Abrams left, Haley took up the mantle of providing actual interesting performances. But it’s mostly because we’re creepy.) Here’s her version of “Rhiannon,” which seems to be heavily inspired by the video for “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” We swear there is actual Vaseline on the lens here:

And here is what I would assume is the first Alanis Morrissette cover on “American Idol.” It’s not “good,” really, but it definitely is something. Plus we dig the PG-scrubbed lyrics. “Is she perverted like me? / Would she go out with you to the theater?” Going to the theater? What a saucy lady!

What do you think? Does Haley have what it takes to lose to Scotty McCreery in next week’s finale?
