Taraji P. Henson claims her son was racially profiled two times and pulled over by police but according to this video the officer appears to be extremely nice.
Henson, who plays “Cookie” on Fox’s “Empire” criticized the police for pulling over her son Marcel, illegally searching the car, and ticketing him for possession of marijuana instead the initial reason for stopping him which was for allegedly failing to yield at a crosswalk. ng this.
TMZ obtained the full dash cam video of the stop and you have to watch it for yourself. The officer claims to pull Marcel over for the alleged traffic violation then asks him if there’s anything illegal in the car. Marcel confesses to having marijuana in the vehicle and it appears the officer appreciates his honesty and only gives him a ticket for having marijuana in the vehicle.
The second incident that happened at USC, police allegedly stopped her son just because he had his hands in his pockets. There’s no video of this incident but we’re hoping to find out more details.
