Video: Watch Pierce Brosnan and Jimmy Fallon play ‘Goldeneye’

How much of your youth did you spend completing missions on the Nintendo 64 game, “Goldeneye”? Based on the 1995 James Bond movie, the game was a huge hit, and for a little while, seemed to be in households across the nation. Jimmy Fallon, as part of his quest to get famous people to do things you always secretly hoped they would do, got Bond himself, Pierce Brosnan, to play the game with him.

Not to name names, but some of us may feel some sympathy for Brosnan after his avatar runs around aimlessly in search of a gun before Fallon’s character promptly kills him. Did anyone else find themselves running into walls and making that pathetic hand chop motion repeatedly until their opponent found them and killed them? We’re not saying the game didn’t have its value, just that the third dimension proved a challenge to certain gamers used to playing games that involved running from the left side of the screen to the right. Certain gamers, see. Not the author of this post, by any means.
