Viola Davis Awarded Harvard’s ‘Artist Of The Year’

Less than a week after winning best supporting actress, Viola Davis headed to Cambridge to receive another award.

The Harvard Foundationnamed the "Fences" actressthe 2017 Artist of the Year.She accepted the award Saturday.

Davis has enjoyed a busy awards season. Besides the Oscar, Davis won the Critics’ Choice, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, and British Academy of Films and Television Arts awards for her portrayal of Rose Maxson in the film adaptation of “Fences."
