The Lego episode of “The Simpsons” airs this Sunday on Fox at 8 p.m., but the network has offered an early glimpse of the episode. The show went a bit more existential than “The Lego Movie” did, as Homer appears to gain awareness that there’s a version of him out there with actual fingers instead of the standard Lego grippers. It all seems to lead back to a Perky Patty’s Princess Shop toy that Homer buys for Lisa from Comic Book Store Guy, who reveals himself to be the “Simpsons” equivalent of a Brony.
Which is weirder, discovering that there’s an alternate universe version of yourself, or discovering that that version is a Lego man (or isn’t, as the case may be)?
