As good as "Stay With Me" and "I'm Not The Only One" are, we're ready for some new Sam Smith and today our wish is granted. The singer is featured in Disclosure's new song, "Omen," available on iTunes today. This is Disclosure's second single off their upcoming album "Caracal," which will be released September 25.
This isn't the first time they've teamed up together: Disclosure wrote Smith's first single "Latch," which has since gone triple platinum. After listening to "Omen," we think they have another hit on their hands.
"It was really exciting," Disclosure's Howard Lawrence says of the collaboration. "We had three whole days to hang out with Sam and write, which are two of my favorite things to do." Howard's brother Guy, the other half of Disclosure agrees. "It's a very traditional way of writing songs. We could do it at home. "I'll sit in the corner making a rough beat and getting all the sounds I think we're going to use ready. Someone will think about a theme of a subject we want to talk about. It all comes together that way and if it doesn't come together quickly, it usually never will."
