The first unidentified man accusing John Travolta of sexual assault during a private massage has dropped out of the lawsuit, according to People magazine. The lawyer handling the complaints, Okorie Okorocha, parted ways with his first client after the man reportedly dropped lied about the date of his interaction with Travolta — who wasn’t in L.A. when the accuser claims he was, according to the actor’s attorney. “Let’s just say we had difference in opinion of how to handle the case and decided to part ways,” Okorocha says. His second unidentified client is still seeking $2 million in damages from Travolta.

John Mayer wants everyone to know he’s done a lot of growing up in his two years out of the spotlight. “I lost my head for a little while. I lost touch and I didn’t want to ask for directions,” Mayer tells Ellen DeGeneres during a visit to her talk show. “I did a couple really dumb interviews and it woke me up.” The singer, who famously shot his mouth off about famous ex-girlfriends and racial issues, insists he’s calmed in the intervening time off. “I think back then I would of said, ‘Give me two weeks’ or like, ‘Let me get out and do Ellen and let me explain myself,” Mayer says. “It was like no, idiot. Go away. Be 33 and 34 instead of 28 for the fourth year.”
Lady Gaga has been denied a permit to perform in the city of Jakarta, according to E! News. The singer was reportedly banned from Indonesia all together after an outpouring of criticism from Islamic activists, but a spokesperson for the Indonesian national police would only confirm that she would not be allowed to go ahead with her scheduled show on June 3. Officials pulled the permit out of fear that they would not be able to control protesters at the event. Lady Gaga’s rep has yet to comment.
Following the lead of Barack Obama, Jay-Z has voiced his support for gay marriage. “I have always thought of it as something that is still holding the country back,” the rapper, who has been married to Beyonce Knowles for four years, tells CNN. “What people do in their own homes is their business, and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. It is no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination, plain and simple.”
Miley Cyrus has opened her heart and her home to yet another dog, Mary-Jane, bringing her total to five pups at home. But that means the singer is breaking the law. “You are allowed three dogs and three cats in the City of Los Angeles unless you have a kennel permit,” a rep for Los Angeles Animal Services tells Hollyscoop. The violation can lead to hefty fines and even jail time. But Cyrus may be able to avoid trouble if she can keep her neighbors happy: “We often do not know if a person has more pets unless the neighbors report them to the Department, which happens if the reporting party feels that the animals are not getting proper care or if they are creating a nuisance,” the rep for Animal Services says.
