Wednesday gossip roundup: Reese Witherspoon is pregnant?

Reese Witherspoon is reportedly pregnant with her third child — and first with husband Jim Toth, according to Us Weekly. “Reese is right around 12 weeks,” a source explains, adding that Witherspoon is “not planning to announce it.” But it’s all said to be part of the plan for the couple, who tied the knot last year. “Jim and Reese have been trying to get pregnant,” a source says. “The timing is right. She’s so happy.” Witherspoon also has a 12-year-old daughter, Ava, and an 8-year-old son, Deacon, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

Here we go again: Angelina Jolie are reportedly planning to finally tie the knot, with Jolie’s brother, James Haven, officiating the ceremony, according to FemaleFirst. “It will take place in France because that’s where the family feel most grounded and also where they are afforded the most privacy,” a source says. “Neither are religious, but they’re planning to have the wedding in the chapel right on their property because it’s just so perfect.” And it looks like it’s going to be a family affair all around: “James is an ordained minister, so they’re planning on having him actually marry them,” the source continues. “The plan is to have Maddox and Pax stand in as Brad‘s groomsmen and Zahara and Shiloh will be bridesmaids. Little Viv will be a flower girl and Knox the ring bearer. Brad’s brother Doug will be their witness.”

Jessica Simpson is set to give birth any day now — and she’s looking forward to getting it over with. “I’m not sleeping very well,” Simpson tells People magazine. “She moves all the time. I had a great pregnancy, but I’m ready for it to be over.” Simpson is even a little worried about how big her unborn daughter is getting. “At this point, I’m really ready,” she says. “If we have a 10-pounder, pray for me!”

With her divorce from Russell Brand being finalized, Katy Perry isn’t the best person to run into during a bachelorette party. But that’s just what happened to Laura Cooney, who was celebrating at London nightclub Mahiki, where Perry was hanging out, accoridng to the Daily Mirror. “We were drinking in Mahiki and Katy was dancing nearby. She ran up to me, saying ‘Don’t do it! Don’t get married,'” Cooney tells the newspaper. “I said, ‘I’d thought you’d say that!’ She suddenly caught herself and said, ‘No, really … congratulations.'”

A lot of people still love Julia Roberts‘ career-launching “Pretty Woman,” but co-star Richard Gere is not one of them. “It’s my least favorite thing,” Gere tells Women’s Day magazine. “People ask me about [it], but I’ve forgotten it. That was a silly romantic comedy.” Beyond being silly, Gere thinks the film may have actually done some damage, given how his rich-guy character was received. “[Pretty Woman] made [guys like Edward] seem dashing, which was so wrong,” Gere explains. “Thankfully, today, we are all more skeptical of those guys.”

Charlie Sheen‘s “Two and a Half Men” character, Charlie Harper, is coming back to the show — so to speak — but that doesn’t mean Sheen is. The hit CBS sitcom has reportedly cast Kathy Bates to play Harper’s ghost in the April 30 episode, according to Hollyscoop. Harper was killed off in the season premier after Sheen’s headline-grabbing exit from the series, with Ashton Kutcher stepping in to replace him.
