When was the last time you did a Jell-O shot?

Jell-O shots — much like their corrupted dessert cousins, special brownies — usually only surface on collage campuses.

But Rachel Federman suspects that the kitschy cocktails still have a place in your sticky little heart. Her new book, “Jiggle Shots,” features 75 playful recipes, from almost sophisticated bellinis and mimosas to Gummy Bears suspended in grain alcohol.

But before you start slurping, consider a utensil this time around. “I always thought the whole idea was to scrunch the cup and gracefully pop a Jell-O shot into your mouth while winking at some intriguing stranger across the room,” says Federman. “But it’s really too much for one bite, and the whole fun is how good they taste, so I recommend a spoon.”
