Where is Amanda Bynes now?

Today marks happy “dirty thirty” birthday for Amanda Bynes, the girl who started as a sweet TV actress, became a major movie starlet and turned into apunchline after she publicly lostcontrol of her life. Where is Amanda Bynes now?

“She is doing great,” her family’s attorney, Tamar Arminak, told E! News. “She is happy and healthy, and excited about the future.”

Bynes enrolled at the Los Angeles campus of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in spring 2014 and just finished the winter quarter of her sophomore year.

“She seems to still be doing great and seems really focused on school,” a source told E! News.

From the small screen to the silver screen, Bynes starred in “All That,” “She’s the Man,” “What I Like About You” and “Easy A,” but she became known more for her off-screen antics.

After losing her license in 2012, things went downhill quickly. Bynes would often hit social media to tweet about how ugly she thought people were – often tweeting right to the alleged offender – like Rihanna (“Chris brown beat you because you’re not pretty enough…”), the Obamas (“Barack and Michelle Obama are ugly!”), her father (“My dad is as ugly as RuPaul!”) and Drake (“please don’t think you’re good looking! Ew!”).

Perhaps he had some redeeming qualities, since previously, Bynes infamously tweeted that she wanted Drake to “murder [her] vagina.”

In 2013, she tweeted about her eating disorder – Bynes wrote that she “has a hard time staying thin” – after she saw a photo of herself that she said “doesn’t help.”

Bynes also wanted to look like stripper-turned-video girl-turned rap topic Blac Chyna, quit acting to pursue fashion and relocated to New York.

Bynes quickly moved back to LA after she was arrested for allegedly throwing a bong out of her apartment window. Her demons followed her back to California where she was involuntarily hospitalized for mental health evaluation after setting a fire in her parents’ neighbor’s yard.

Bynes was diagnosed as bipolar and manic depressive and began medication. In April 2014, she was able to get her license back and started following her fashion dream.

In September of the same year, Bynes had a small hiccup when she was arrested for DUI, but since then, things seem to be going her way.

At least from what we tell, because Bynes, who oft posted shirtless selfies, has now taken a milder, more private approach to social media.

Happy birthday, Amanda Bynes!
