"Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale (Aria) doesn't want to spend the rest of her days getting blackmailed via text messages. The actress, who got her her start on "American Idol" spinoff "American Juniors," is returning to her musical roots — she just released a country single called "You Sound Good to Me."

"You Sound Good to Me" is doing better than the average starlet's foray into music: The video has 1.3 million views, and the song is No. 21 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. So is Hale planning to ditch Rosewood for Nashville? Not quite yet.

"I'll ride out that show until it's done, just because that's allowed me to do this right here," Hale told Billboard. "I don't think I'll ever quit acting, but in my heart, I feel like I'm a musician. I want to continue to make music for the rest of my life."

"Ride it out"? Lucy doesn't sound like she's got a lot of enthusiasm left for the ongoing saga of the Liars and their mysterious tormentor, A. But I guess a girl can only cast so many longing, steamy glances at her English teacher before she has to write a country song about it.
