Ex-captive: Top ISIS commander is an American

A Yazidi slave girl has claimed the high-ranking ISIS commander who held her prisoner was a white American who directed the terror group’s attacks. Nada, 19, told the Daily Mail Online that U.S. citizen Abu Abdullah al-Amriki (the American), 23, boasted to her while she was his slave about how beautiful women from all over the world wanted to join him in Syria.

The teenager, who is now in America, told her story to the US government after escaping with her captor’s phone. A fellow Yazidi hostage, known as “Bazi,” is also in the United States and is preparing to give evidence against Abu Abdullahto Congress, according to the Daily Mail report, which added that it cannot independently verify the girls’ claims.

Nada was first captured in northern Iraq city of Tal-Afar as t he terror group abducted more than 500 Yazidi young women and slaughtered 5,000 people as they advanced through the region, according to the Daily Mail, which added that ISIS views Yazidis as “devil-worshippers.”

Nada described her captivity to the Daily Mail: “Many guests were coming, and he [Abdullah] was always explaining things to them. … He always carried a pistol and an AK-47. … He also carried a policeman’s stick, which he used to beat me.”

Nada said the American commander was “nervous” and prone to yelling at her constantly, according to the Daily Mail, which added that he allegedly carries a vial of poison in his pocket in case his enemies capture him alive.

Nada claimed that she eventually made it out of slavery and into an Iraqi refugee camp while Abdullah and his guards went to battle. She was first interviewed by the American forces while in the refugee camp, setting off her journey that would eventually reach the United States.
