Vancouver-born Chinese pop star Edison Chen was met with a throng of reporters and fans as he entered B.C. Supreme Court yesterday to testify here in a trial being held in China.
The celebrity is a witness in the trial of a Hong Kong computer technician charged with posting photos of Chen sleeping with eight of the country’s most famous female stars online.
Police said around 1,300 photos were illegally copied from Chen’s laptop after it was taken in to be repaired.
The Hong Kong court booked a courtroom in Vancouver because Chen refused to go to Asia to testify.
