Fashion rules week

L’Oréal Fashion Week executive director Robin Kay with Liberty Group president Nick Di Donato.

If you design it they will come. And that’s what they did last week. They came for the after parties. They came for the cocktail hour. They came for the luncheons. But most of all they came for the runway shows. While fashion watchers scrabbled for their seats, Canadian designers were busy scrabbling to fit their models at L’Oréal Fashion Week’s Fall 2007 Collection at the Liberty Grand.

Fashion diva and Fashion Design Council of Canada head Robin Kay put the call out to her designing teams and the pieces came together from make-up artists to sponsors with this season’s theme of World Piece — just some of the piece makers that made L’Oréal Fashion Week happen.
