There was a small engine fire on a boat off Pier 11 early Thursday morning that was quickly put out at 8:15 by FDNY. FDNY did not say what the cause of the fire was.
Witnesses on Twitter said that there were no visible flames but that smoke could be seen coming out of the boat.
There were no reported injuries.
