For the past 15 years, Festival Place has been known as the place for the performing arts in Sherwood Park.
Yesterday, the theatre east of Edmonton announced its lineup for the 2010-2011 season.
“We program on one basic idea,” said Gavin Farmer, Festival Place’s artistic director and facility supervisor. “No matter how many people are going to come out, what they’re going to see is going to be excellent.”
Theatre fans will be treated to everything from folk music, with acts like master guitarist Archie Fisher and Vancouver artists The Fugitives, to family-friendly programming, like Caillou’s Greatest Skate of All and Suessical Jr.
The season runs from September to April with shows added throughout the year.
