Hi, my name is Winona. I’m a 2.5-year-old domestic shorthair mix looking for my forever home.
I am social and friendly, but I might be a little shy at first when meeting new people and when going to live in my new home. I prefer if you move slowly and let me sniff your hand before petting me. I like to make sure you are a friend — and once I do, I will quickly be affectionate toward you!
During my first few days at my new home, please keep me in one safe room with my bed, food, water, litter box and toys. This will help me gradually get used to my new surroundings without being overwhelmed and help me remember where my litter box is.
I love yummy treats, and appreciate some extra-special alone time.
