UPDATE: The FDNY is saying that the fire is now under control.

The FDNY are responding to a fire on the roof of a five-story office building at 194 Broadway in Lower Manhattan that is located next to the new Fulton Street subway station. The new subway stop is slated to open in June 2014.
A call about the fire came in at 1:30 p.m., according to the FDNY. One engine has already arrived on the scene and firefighters have worked their way onto the roof and are battling the blaze. Five engines have responded to help snuff the fire.
The fire is commercial in nature, the FDNY said.
