Flash mob set to take over downtown

Ottawa will mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia with a short flash of fun downtown today. “There are a number of community organizers who are putting together a flash mob or a five-minute block party,” said Claudia Van den Heuvel, executive director of Pink Triangle Services.

The flash mob will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Gallery 101 on Bank Street.“It’s for the queer community, but anybody that supports the issues, the struggles and the advancements of the queer community are totally welcome to join in,” said Van den Heuvel.
