An argument at a Brooklyn restaurant early on Saturday turned ugly when one man threatened the other with a machete and then bled to death after falling on broken glass, police said.
Miguel Jimenez and a friend were thrown out of the La Cabana Rodriguez restaurant on Flatbush Avenue a little before 4 a.m. when they began to fight over the check, police said.
Jimenez initially took out a foot-long machete but dropped it in favor of fighting with his fists, the NY Post reported. It was during the physical altercation that he landed on a broken bottle and sliced his arm.
Jimenez was transported to Kings County Hospital, where he died at 4:30 a.m.
