A wild high speed Bronx crash damaged three cop cars and sent four officers to the hospital early Friday morning.

Three suspects have been taken into custody, and charges are still pending, after authorities say they crashed into NYPD squad cars while attempting to flee police, Newsday reported.

The incident took place near the corner of Crescent and Belmont avenues about 12:50 a.m., police said to the New York Daily News, adding that they are still looking for a gun that might have been tossed during the ordeal.

Cops saw the vehicle, which contained three men, as it sped through the Bronx’s Little Italy, the Daily News reported, stating that the driver ignored police as they attempted to pull him over. In an attempt to flee the pursuing officers, the driver crashed into three police cars and one civilian vehicle before finally coming to a stop just north of East Fordham Road.

In the resulting chaos, one officer fired a round from his gun, sources told Newsday. It wasn’t clear if the shot, which hit no one, was accidental or intentional, the Daily News added.
