You can’t help but feel a family vibe when you walk into Flock. That’s because the small boutique on a quiet South End street was founded by mother and daughter team Danielle and Lisa Kupsc, and they have a small, close-knit staff.
Infused with a subtle West Coast feel, Flock features designers such as Megan Park and Corey Lynn Parker and offers collections that are hard to find anywhere else in New England.
The adornment of local artwork and flora complements the Bohemian-style collection, full of silk blouses, unique accessories and summery sandals. Without being showy or cutesy, the clothing is chic with just the right amount of modernity. Ranging from flowing dresses and skirts to some distinctive denim articles, Flock’s collection mirrors the rare atmosphere of the shop.
Given the small space at the shop, the birds of this feather are able to give customers their own space while still always being available.
“Flock is classic fashion that is down to earth,” says Amy Lipnis, one of Flock’s two employees. “We strive to create an inviting and inspiring atmosphere that makes for a welcoming and easy shopping experience.”
And that they do. The experience is a charming one, especially if you’re lucky enough to meet Roscoe and Bo, the pair of resident dogs. Flock is the perfect destination for a comfortable, unique summer look.
