An upscale Florida hotel is offering a package aimed at snowbirds shopping for real estate bargains.
The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, north of Miami, says its Future Floridian package includes a “preferred list of realtors” for guests to consult, a city of Aventura, Fla. guidebook, GPS to navigate South Florida’s residential communities, and foot massages at the resort spa, along with accommodation.
If they end up buying a home, package holders also receive a Florida welcome gift, a resort stay discount for “future house guests,” and a $3,000 US spending credit with the purchase of a membership at Turnberry Isle Resort & Golf Club.
Rates, based on a two-night minimum stay, start at $839 from Oct. 1 to Dec. 18; $1,389 from Dec. 19 to Jan. 4; and $1,019 from Jan. 5 through April 30.
The resort recently underwent a $130-million transformation.
