Forget the schedule, trains later this year

It’s not just your imagination, heavily traveled lines like the 6, B, D, A and C are all running later compared to last year, according to data released by the MTA.

Former MTA board member Andrew Albert warned that longer wait times may get worse as the MTA mulls cuts.

“The fact that you have to wait one or two minutes can balloon into 5-, 10-, 15-, or 20-minute waits,” Albert said. “It’s going to hit the New York way of life.”
