Former Canadian ambassador to Afghanistan Christopher Alexander is slated to speak at the Arthur Kroeger Awards gala at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier on Thursday.
Alexander was the deputy special representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan.
“His remarks should be of interest to anyone attentive to Canada’s military, diplomatic and humanitarian presence in Afghanistan,” said Christopher Dornan, director of the Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs.
The awards celebrate and encourage exemplary commitment to the public good.
