Another day, another cold blast of air coming down from Canada.

Faye Barthold, a meteorologist from the National Weather Service, said that New Yorkers shouldn’t get used to Wednesday’s temperatures that rose above freezing — up to 37 degrees in Central Park.

Barthold said the cold air moving in will keep temperatures in the mid-20s through the weekend, and down into the teens and single digits overnight.

There’s a slight chance of snow after 10 a.m. Thursday afternoon that could bring less than an inch, and the city will be dry until another system moves through on Sunday, bringing with it snow and freezing rain that could last overnight into Monday.

Friday will be the coldest night of the next few days, with a low of 10 degrees expected.

Barthold said there have been just 14 days with temperatures above freezing so far this month.
