This top dog is not going anywhere.

For the second year in a row, the American Kennel Club has revealed that in 2015 the French Bulldog once again was named the most popular dog breed in New York City.

The breed — which first took the top spot in 2014 — also managed to jump three spots nationwide going from ninth in 2014 to ranking the sixth most popular breed for in all the United States for 2015.

Although the French Bulldog holds the number one spot for the whole city, it isn’t the most popular breed in every neighborhood, according to the American Kennel Club. It is popular in areas such as Murray Hill, Washington Heights, Chelsea, the Financial District and Park Slope.

Bulldogs are the most popular in Tribeca, the East Village and Astoria, while Labrador Retrievers — who were named the most popular breed in the nation for the 25th consecutive year—reign on the Upper West Side.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are the most popular on the Upper East Side, German Shepherds in New Dorp, Staten Island, and Havanese take the number one spot in Riverside.

“The versatile, lovable Lab has firmly planted its paw print in AKC’s history,” AKC Vice President Gina DiNardo said in a statement. “But keep your eye on the French Bulldog. The Frenchie has risen 32 spots over the past decade and shows no signs of stopping.”
