An NYPD officer is facing charges of assault after he was arrested last night.
George St. Louis, a sergeant with the NYPD, was arrested just after 10:30 p.m. while he was off-duty. He was charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault, and criminal obstruction of breathing.
The NYPD did not release any other details about his arrest.
