Add French actor Gérard Depardieu to the list of people who have inappropriately urinated on a plane lately.
Apparently Depardieu doesn’t like to be told “no” and decided he was going to relieve himself despite being asked to wait 15 minutes until after take-off during a Paris to Dublin flight.
“I want to piss. I want to piss,” Depardiue reportedly declared.
“And there and then he stood up and did it on the floor. We could see he had been drinking. The stewardess was dumbfounded,” a witness told Europe 1 radio.
Friends of the actor offer an account that just doesn’t seem to flow with the witness’ description. They say the humiliated Depardiue had to go so badly that he was actually trying to discretely pee into a bottle. Sure, maybe a little urine spilled onto the floor, but it was an accident! His friends say Depardiue even offered to clean up the pee pee himself.
A spokesperson from CityJet said “the passenger” had refused to remain in his seat and that’s why the captain turned around the plane.
On CityJet’s Twitter account, however, the company did offer this little tidbit: “We’d also like to remind all passengers that our planes are fully equipped with toilet facilities.”
