The hard looks from the New York Giants and the New York Jets continued with Pro Day visits on Thursday. Of interest, the Jets apparently are seriously eyeing up an Ivy league quarterback.

Both New York teams were at the Oklahoma State Pro Day, per a source. The Giants sent two scouts, Donnie Etheridge and Marquis Pendleton to the event and the Jets were represented by Zach Truty, an area scout.

At the Pro Day, the teams surely were there to check-in on massive defensive tackle Vincent Taylor as well as running back Chris Carson, who turned some heads at the recent NFL Combine. It was also an impressive showing from wide receiver Jhajuan Seales who ran a 4.4 time in the 40 and had a 41.5 inch vertical leap, per multiple reports. All 32 NFL teams were on hand for the Oklahoma State day.

Also of interest, at the Penn Pro Day on Thursday the Jets were one of several teams on hand. A source said that the Jets have strong interest in Penn quarterback Alex Torgerson, who they’ve scouted several times this season.

Last year for the Quakers, Torgerson threw for 2,231 yards with 17 touchdowns and four interceptions.

On Wednesday, both of the New York teams were at the Alabama Pro Day with the Jets sending head coach Todd Bowles. The Jets also had three representatives at the Colorado Pro Day including scout Xavier Adibi and defensive line coach Robert Nunn.

The Giants had a singular presence at Colorado in scout Mike Murphy.
